HIPPOTYCH

My Hippotych box construction reflects my fascination with the circus and ideas of weight vs. weightlessness, conscious thought vs. subconscious.  In Hippotych, each of the 3 hippopotami is firmly planted to the ground while acrobats, clowns and a ballerina perform in the space high above.
